i'm about to take delivery of an appartment in paphos and wondered if anyone had tips on furnishing the place at a reasnable cost thanks

Buy only the furniture that you need. I notice some people buy furniture as part of the decoration and they fill their apartments with them. I prefer less furniture and more space.

Look out for packages that some shops do, they can be really good value. If you are thinking of letting out people prefer, good quality furniture, if for holidays, not the boxy square holiday stuff...You might bring your curtains from the UK, not much choice in ready made ones here.

there are lots of cheap furniture places about... some of it is pretty good as well..

Beds, Sofas, Tables and chairs can all be had at very reasonable prices, alternatively you could buy second hand from classified papers, there is an excellent second hand market here...
