This lovely Island would never have been divided had there not been fanatics incharge.
There are many Cypriots who would like to be reconciled with their Turkish friends and neighbours
As any minority group will tell you, there is always a control fanatic incharge of any ethnic cleansing, and it's so sad that these people are thought of as Saints.

The generals in Greece that made the coup were sent to jail, the same with Samson in Cyprus.

In Turkey, the man that was responsible for the deaths of 6000 people, the ethnic cleansing of 200.000 and many more crimes, not only he was not jailed, but he is your idol and Turks are brainwashed to believe your "facts" about him.

Swashbuckler, you may swear at me all day and all night for stating the facts about that criminal called Ecevit. It just shows what kind of person you are supporting such scums like him.

Personally I never supported the likes of Grivas and Samson. There is a small minority of far-right GCs that would react in the same way that you do if something bad was said about Grivas. You are 100 times worst than them since you support a person who had committed 100 times more and worst crimes than Grivas did.

It is amazing how most Turks support their national criminals like this. Maybe it is because their national heroes have always been the "conquerors" who spread fear and death. How about having as idols some of your great philosophers and scientists instead? How about start acting a bit civilized for once instead of supporting criminals and crimes?
