What a fun thread, but Piratis, your propaganda is about a century out of date.

"Our churches in the occupied areas not only are turned into mosques, but to many other things, including stables."

Armies ceased having horses a long time ago so there is no need to stable them in churches. The handful of horses in the North - OK maybe a couple of handfulls - are pampered creatures who live in specially designed and built stables.

Most of the churches have been left to weather and age; a few have been maintained, some as museums. I don't think many in recent years (I have never seen one) have been intentionally desecrated.

From observation in RoC, it appears that it is impossible stable orthodox horses in mosques as they nearly all seem to have been demolished.

This is a classic case were the Turks having nothing else to say are trying to take the discussion away from the sublect.

Really?

So the following I guess happened in 1906 and not 2006:

No it didn't happen in 1906, but in 2006. But for the Turks 1906 or 2006 it doesn't make any difference. They have not changed at all. They still commit the same kind of crimes

Not a single Mosque has been destroyed. This shows that having nothing else to reply to the crimes and atrocities of the Turks you are either trying to avoid the questions or you invent some lies.

People get killed, people suffer and you have no shame but to use a couple of buildings for your propaganda. Sod your churches and sod the Mosques. Tear down the bloody lot and house the people instead of you using them as a soap box for your propaganda. Shame on you and your choice of ultra-nationalist fascism.

The fascists are non else than you. Like the Hitlers that you are, you invade and illegally occupy sovereign nations and you perform ethnic cleansings.

It is not a just a "couple of buildings". From the occupied Cyprus you are trying to uproot everything Greek or Christian, not just building but also the 200.000 Greek Cypriots who are the majority of the people that have the northern part of Republic of Cyprus as their homeland.

You shamelessly and illegally keep all those people out of their homes at gun point and then you say that you destroy the churches to "house people". Oh, how generous you are

Oh! So you no longer care about the churches then. What a turn around. Should we be surprised?

What we are trying to do is survive your torrent of abuse and inhumane acts against us. We are not animals to be starved out in the way of medieval war fare. Just because we are not at your mercy and dying by the thousands from starvation and disease like your Makarios did to us in the 60s you try to win sympathy by crying over your churches. Wipe your tears my friend AND DON’T BE TOO ALARMED WHEN YOUR HANKERCHIEF COMES BACK BONE DRY.

The only ones who were killed by the thousands were Greek Cypriots under the Turks. This is a historical fact. You are just lying out of your ass to excuse yet more of your crimes against us, as you did during most part of your history since the Turks set their foot on this island and until this very moment.

You are full of shit and lame excuses.

Zan the topic here is that your position about partition is the same as that of the most far-right wing nationalists of Israel! How do you feel about that? Are you glad that you finally have some support for partition?

I don't need support for partition. What I have said all along is that due to circumstances partition is the best option for the foreseeable future. If others come along and realise this as a fact then they are welcome and it’s about time too. If as Israel has said it can serve as an example and help to solve their problems with the Palestinians as well then even better. You choose to see common sense as fascism then that is your problem not mine. As for Piratis he will not stop until every Turk has been put under Greek control. He seeks a different kind of partition as in appartite. We will not give up what we have fought and died for to become second class citizens. We will not start again at the bottom under the pretence of the EU equality. The EU does not give us an equal footing unless the north is allowed to develop and catch up with the south. The sanctions must end and time must be given for this to happen.
