Airline companies??

Postby Mus » Sun Nov 05, 2006 12:42 pm

Can anyone recommend a cheap airline company? I would like to go to Denmark in Christmas but as usual all the prices are insane. Is it really that impossible to get a cheap ticket from Cyprus to Europe, it seems like it. Unless you're flying to England which seems to have lots of good offers. Hope some one can help!

Maybe you can get a good offer for Greece or UK and then another flight from there to Denmark?

Yeah, I thought about the same...unfortunately the cheap company from Athens-Copenhagen doesn't fly around that time. Guess I'll have to take the expensive flight then! Just find it a bit unfair that in all other European countries you can get really cheap flights for most of the big cities but not here in Cyprus...it's always 3 times a expensive...why is that?

Hi Mus

Why don't you fly to the UK then on to Denmark?

Cheap Airlines

Hi all,

I've booked tickets with JAT flying Larnaca to Stockholm, 220 CYP! over Xmas. JAT is cheap and so is MALEV. During the early spring I would also recommend flying Sterling to/form Scandinavia.

We dont gte cheap flights because our airports do not support low cost budget airlines, but with upgrading of services, will in 2008 (hopefully!).

Malev wasn't cheap last time I checked -they used to be but probably I'm to late with ordering the plane ticket for Denmark. This time they wanted more than 650 pounds for a ticket. I found something cheaper through CSA finally. Never heard of JAT, do they have a homepage? Didn't get the one with "flying Sterling to/form Scandinavia"...Sterling doesn't fly here, so...!?

Oops...sorry! You're right Sterling only flies in and out of Athens from Scandinavia. JAT is the national carrier of Yugoslavia. They have flights from Larnaca to Scandinavia via Belgrade. During the summer months you may want to try vingreiser or restplass.no.

There is a cheap airline flying from Paphos to Glasgow in Scotland. It is a direct flight. The company is GLOBESPAN and can be found at flyglobespan.com. From Glasgow you can then fly Easyjet to Denmark directly also....just a suggestion!! I think Ryanair also do it from Glasgow Prestwick.

Thanks for all the replies. Today I booked a ticket with CSA for £230 which I think is pretty okay price (for Cyprus). It is about as cheap as it can get!
