There are lots of very nice 4 and 5 star hotels in the North, I've stayed at a few of them. And when I went a month ago there were quite a few being built around the Kyrenia area.

The best thing to do is book a weeks holiday and go out there. Have a look for yourself. Thats what I did and I absolutely loved it, so did all my family.

A lot of people will try and put you off saying bad things about the places and the people, so go and have a look for youself and make your own mind up. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Its not for me thanks Trinket. I have no interest in the North whatsoever and have no plans to make the hike. My friend at work is looking at buying in the North.

There is no exchange land you idiot! To exchange something you need to have two parties agreeing to an exchange. You are a criminal and hope you will be arrested!

Exchange land? What have you exchanged Trinklet?

Yes there is a small premium, but in comparison to properties in the South or other popular holiday destinations like Spain and Portugal, the price is still a lot cheaper.

I do agree that you get what you pay for, and it all depends on your attitude to risk.

I'm a bit of a risk taker, so I've bought on Exchange land, which is not 100% safe like Turkish Title but its not as risky as TMD land.

What makes a so-called "Exchange land" not as risky as TMD land? Where has the term "exchanged" come from, if there was absolutelly no agreement for the exchange of properties in Cyprus between their GC owners and anybody else? What is a TMD land anyway?

You all have these very strong opinions about people buying property in the North, yet you don't seem to know the difference between the land titles.

I suggest you do some research as I did when I decided to make a purchase.

Also as a new member to this forum I understood it to be a Cyprus forum, but it seems as though it is a Southern Cyprus forum.

Kifeas, maybe you agreed to take Trinket property in London as an exchange and you forgot?

It is called Cyprus Forum. Not Thieves-Forum.com so it is not for you.
