I have no doubt it will drag on until they decide to act with some dignity and ALL parties involved can be present. They are both playing the same game except one thinks they have an advantage with the EU. If Turkey were going to sell us out it would have made some moves in that direction before now and not totally embarrass it self at the last moment as you suggest. This about more than just the problems of a silly little island and you know that too well. Let the TRNC go and enter the EU as a eunuch, It just does not make sense. If you are to write a story then it has to be believable unless of course it is a work of pure fiction then you can sour as high as an eagle with your head way above the clouds.

zan do yourself a favour and do take a couple of aspros...

tell me , which points of the little story you disagree with?

ps...yes the RoC is a full member of the EU representing the whole island, and this zan is a reality...the sooner you and the motherland accept this the sooner we will find a solution.

You guys are just pill pushers at the end of the day

The RoC represents the whole island and that is your reality?

They do not feed me. They do not clothe me. They do not provide me with shelter. They do not protect me. They do not represent me. If you look across the boarder you will see a people that are looking after them selves albeit with some parental help. That is the reality and that is the solution. If you want to write a story about a powerful stallion whilst you are riding a donkey then only the limits of your imagination can hold you back but at the end of the day you will dismount from a donkey.

But you are not a Citizen of this country either, and I do not think you should have the right to talk on behalf of the Turkish Cypriot Citizens of Cyprus. As far as I am concerned, you are just a British Citizen of Cypriot decent, permanently living in the UK, the country of your citizenship! How you dare talk on behalf of the Turkish Cypriots living in Cyprus, and claim that the RoC doesn't represent you, is beyond me! Of course the more than 70,000 real Turkish Cypriots that have obtained the RoC and ID's, and became EU citizens via the RoC, are de facto and de jure represented by the RoC; as well as the thousands that cross south every day for work, shopping, business opportunities and health care do feel they are represented to a certain extent. You, a British national, do not need any of these, nor a RoC passport to travel to Europe as an EU citizen! You have your British passport, the passport of your country, for all these! You are neither a de facto, nor a de jure citizen of Cyprus!

Since when a British national like you can so audaciously claim to represent the true Turkish Cypriots that live in Cyprus and are citizens of the RoC?

I thought that I made that clear. You stopped when it was getting interesting and topical (up to date). Turkey has said no to the present set up and if she were given her chance the TRNC would say the same. The RoC thinks they can play games by not asking the real victims to take part in a deal that effects them. If Turkey had gone to the talks without the TRNC then we the TCs would have made one hell of a fuss.

You also think you are being clever by not stating all the facts and what the implications are if Turkey did attend those talks without ALL parties being there. Some political, some for losing face and some for strategy. You seem to forget that we are just a few people talking on a forum and we have our strategies. Do you honestly believe that Turkey and the TRNC are going to fall for every trick that the RoC and Greece throw at them. Never underestimate your foe my friend.

You seem to have brought your anger under control Kifeas and I congratulate you for it. A whole post with no threats or name calling, well sort of.

Can you tell me how you know what citizenship I have and have not for you to make such sweeping statements???????????

Turkey is the country who is illegally occupying part of Republic of Cyprus and this is why RoC should deal only with Turkey. If "trnc" will participate then why not the "prc" (Piratis Republic of Cyprus), it represents a minority of Cypriots as well.
