CASTING FOR TV SERIES!
There will be auditions held for the creation of a new TV series and anyone who is interested can drop by and participate. Acting experience is a plus. You may prepare something yourself, or you will be given sides (pages to read). The purpose is to create something new, of a certain quality and as international as possible. Greek language is not a must.
Auditions will be held on Monday 6th of November in Nicosia.

Is this a private venture or is there a tv channel backing it? (not that i know how these things work anyway)

Sotos....have you seen Cypriot actors??? Where's the quality????. The handful of actors that Cyprus has appear in all of the programmes just with different wigs on. The acting is appalling and consists of a young woman (usually eastern block) being chased by and older married man who in turn is being chased by a frumpy looking wife. Everyone is shouting.... We even have the third country nationals been mocked....

I believe that it says "acting experience is a plus", not that it's not required. Anyway, this is backed up by a production company. The idea is to create something different than the "shouting" TV series that are a Cyprus trademark. No wigs will be used, so there should be a variety of actors 
We are not looking JUST for the leading parts. The idea is to have a lot of guests and extras, so it would be nice if more people who want to participate in a TV series are known to us. And the most important is that we are trying to create somehing international, that will not offend anyone's religion, country, color e.t.c. as it is being done, unfortunately, now.We are all profesionals, with TV, Theatre and Film background and we are just trying to prove that something good can be done here.
