I think Cyprus should take a long brake from making TV films , the actors are embarrassingly bad , they tend to think that shouting while gesturing with arms waving about makes good acting , well my late grandfather , he would have been 140 now and never set foot outside Paphos , would have found the actors amusing , but in the words of a famous " actress " WE ARE NOT AMUSED !!

I think they learn their acting skills watching the Greek rubbish from Greece , they also shout and prance about gesturing in monkey like fashion.

Please remember I have no authority what so ever in judging good or bad acting since I last went to the cinema in 1963 to see Ben Hur -3- times in fact. Watch the odd film on TV NOW AND VERY RARELY AGAIN.

Its an action/mystery TV series with detective elements. You realise that i cant say more here of course, but I would be happy to audition anyone who is interested and discuss the plot with them. I am not going to write my number again, but if you are really interested just call me and we will arrange an audition.

I agree with the last statement about Cypriot actors. I am an actor/director and I have mostly worked outside Cyprus with various Production companies (Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, USA). I am looking for people who can act without the use of body parts, people who are not following the Greek standards so we can create something decent. Minimalistic acting, fast paced script, atmospheric shots and directing that serves the purposes of the script is what we are aiming for. Honestly, you guys know how things are here. So, we need help. If you want to see something different, help us out by dropping by. You might not get a main part, not even a talking one, but you might be casted as an extra and believe me, it does make a difference on the final image to have some people in the background.
