English speaking driving instructors in Larnaca??

Can anyone recommend any English speaking driving instructors in Larnaca?
I have a Swedish colleague (speaks excellent English) who wants to learn to drive.
She has been told that you have to live on the island for 6 months before you can begin driving lessons, is that true :?:

Hi - No ideas re. an English speaking instructor but as for rules and regs maybe the site www.cyprusdriving.net may help. (Sorry, don't know how to insert the link for you.)
