I believe that like all other citizens of other nations, the Greeks must apply for Cypriot Citizenship.

In doing so, they should also be made to abandon or rescind the Greek citizenship

This should apply to anyone who decided to stay here in the Republic of Cyprus as a permanent resident.

Why bother? They are both EU citizens. You do not HAVE to apply for Cypriot citizenship in Cyprus. Where did you get that idea that all other nationalities have to apply for this????????

It's bad enough that we have to apply for residency let alone become a citizen of Cyprus.

I'm certainly not looking forward to my trip to the immigration office in Larnaca in February.

Do you think the little Hitler in there will fast track me if I tell him my mum is Greek
