get your facts right...it was NOT the Greek embassy it was the Aussie FA which banned any political flags/banners including the Sun of Vergina Macedonian flag. only the national flags of Greece and Australia were allowed.

AlexISS we went to the same university! And you are right. In my class the Cypriots didn't interact either. Actually my best friend from college was from Crete and the rest of Cypriots shunned me for it. When I would talk to them the answer I would get was "why don't you go hang out with the kalamarades". I have not a problem being Cypriot, I actually love it. But if GCs erase their Greekness and TCs erase their Turkishness we wont be who we are anymore. For us to go forward we need to embrace and accept each other for who we are.

It was Department of Technology of Production but I believed it has changed its name. Yes, you are right a Cretan is pretty close to a Cypriot but not quite. MY boyfriend at the time was from Larissa and my roommate was from Athens. I also have 2 friends I met back then, that I still keep in touch with. Oh yes, the fun we had!
