prices are crazy

Postby kasia » Thu Nov 02, 2006 11:49 am

Hmmmm, i thought only i have this problem! i nearly had a heart attack when i saw my bill for last 2 months-150cyp. i have only 1 a/c split and water solar heating and usually we are all day out and dont use facilities.
i remember last winter we were using 2 a/c to heat and electric heaters and the bill was - for the coldest two months - only 110.
they have to do something with prices, with my salary i cant afford.

I found a table giving energy prices for 2006 - shows electricity prices in Cyprus rose 31.4% and now cost Cyp £8.21 per 100 KW hours (plus tax ?)

So looks like your paying a third more this year than last in Cyprus

electricity prices - note PDF file

I am not saying that the prices didnt rise, but to say that you pay more if you are an expat is total Bullsh*t.

The most common problem is the leak of electricity.
The earth wire will drain the electricity away to earth
by a low-resistance pathway. The user will be unaware of the potential dangerous nature, economical or for safety.

A solution is to check your home’s electrical system by a qualified electrician each year.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

You’re saying that electricity bills are high because the electricity silently leaks away through the earth? :?

I think the technical term for that problem is actually ‘bullshit’.
