Hi Dee,Just seeen your enquiry about estate agents.We came over in September with Parador properties,and were looked after by their office at Ayia Napa.Peter was brilliant,nothing was too much trouble,and we also got advice from their financial advisor.May be worth giving them a bell?? The only problem with Parador is that they do not show you resales and only show you new build properties built by 4 or 5 developers. So choice is a bit restrcited, but it is good to hear they offer a good service.

Hi Lana,Yes you are quite right,I was basing my recommendation purely upon the personal service.I was told that they can do re-sales,although they are few and far between.They were really good though,our agent,Peter was really good.He is full of good information and really helpful,the office staff were great as well.I rather got the impression that if you neede some advice,they would go the extra yard to find out for you.

good luck with all your plans.
having identified if you have actually purchased a property, but do know developers (legitimate and professional) with property in Sotira and surrounding areas if you are interested buying off-plan (always cheaper) or newly built.
if you need anyone to show you around (no charge of course) would be happy to do so and will be able to negotiate a good price.

We are looking at buying off plan. We have put a small deposit down on a plot in Sotira, we thought it was quite a nice area. We had a look around during the day, and went back to see what it was like at night, and felt comfortable with it. To be honest the whole of Cyprus felt much safer than the UK. The development has a few villas and a few houses, we are hoping to buy a two bed house. Thank you for the offer of showing us around and negotiating a good price, I may come back to you if things don't work out.
