Perfect example Sotos, that Diesel Jeans & Levi's Jeans and any other Jeans are all "Jeans". They just look different to the eyes, but they are all made the "same way", to be called "Jeans"

I am a Turkish Cypriot that does not look like one. My fathers side of the family apparrently came from the Russian steps. My mother looks asian. I was born with fair hair which is now brown and blue eyes which are now green. I have been mistaken for an Italian, Jew, Spanish and English.

Work that one out??????? :?

Seems to me there is nothing to work out. A poor woman in your family fell victim of Don Juan De Marco :P

Does anyone know?

OK so Someone had posted this a few days ago, on a different thread:

In 1990 samples from 116 Turkish Cypriot, 303 Greek Cypriot, 235 mainland Turks and 174 mainland Greeks were tested in the US by professor Huisman.

Genetic illness and DNA expert Dr. Erol Baysal with the assistance of English, Turkish, Cypriot and Greek experts conducted the work, and found that the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot DNA was very close.

Even though the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot see the mainland as there genetic source they are very far apart and also very different and that certain codes in the DNA which can only be found in Cypriots was conclusive proof that Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot were the only ones that have this DNA.

Even though it was always assumed that Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot were close this showed they were much closer than could be anticipated.

I realise that the culture of south of the island is predominantly Greek

allow me to say that this is wrong!
ancient greek civilazation (theatres , cities etc) , venetian and french walls and castles, orthdox churches and ottoman mosques are spread evenly thoughout cyprus.
