Never did like the meat at CCC. It was always tough and seemed old. The promotions of really cheap meat did help matters. I prefer Alpha Mega, Metros or better still the small butchers in town. Their meat is always much better. Once bought proscuitto ready packed from them, when I got it home there was white and blue fur on it. The vacuum pack had opened and turned the meat off. They refunded me though!

I think it is better to buy meat, fish, vegetables and fruits from specialized shops than from these big supermarkets!

I agree 100%, we buy our meat from Melis & Sons in Limassol, always top quality.

Aside from that we like Carrefour if only for the pleasant staff, most refreshing.

KLAPPIS is good place to buy meat from... they've opened recently a big shop about 300m from Agios Nicholas church... also Klappis operates in Debenhams and some other supermarkets.
