You can try Simon, the senior chef of the Moustakalli Tavern. He has always very good and fresh meat at the Municipal Market in the pedestrian square in Polis.

The best butchers I know are in the Greek/Cypriot hit parade.

They regularly butcher evrey song they get their hands on. All that wailing. The graveyards around cyprus must be littered with those have have killed themselves or others through 'lost love'.

Yes when in that area I use the one on the Pomos road..next to the bakery sort of opposite the senior school...sorry don't know the name of the road but I know where it is...lol

Twinkle has no hesitation in eating meat as long as its not a pet :)

Actually I was asked about a butcher for someone who was holidaying in the Polis area. I'm in Larnaca. As for eating meat....I do and Bakala, you are correct in saying as long as it's not a pet. Also no veal, no rabbits, no pigeons or the like.
