The Cyprus Issue: A British View Again

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I repeat, however, it doesn't add to or subtract from the main point of my first posting that "it (TRNC) will not go away until a mutually agreed settlement is reached between the two communities that live on the island". In any foreseeable future Cyprus will remain divided into its current two parts until people living in the RoC accepts something very like the Annan Plan.

And for how long can you foresee the future exactly? Is the "foreseeable future" 2 years, 20 years or 200 years?

The point is, that even if it was 2000 years we wouldn't sign away our country with a partition plan like that of Annan. We will wait for as long as it takes and meanwhile we will make whatever we can so that those that force these crime against us will also have consequences.
