How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Growuptc,

What's logical to me will be illogical to you. Kofi Annan spoke for both communities, he had no hidden agendas nor did he have any reason to to give us an advantage in his plan.

The plan was drawn with the best intentions from a much respected organisation. It may have needed a touch of fine tuning but was overwhelmingly rejected by the GC's. That to me is a clear indication that there is very little to no hope in a settlement in Cyprus.

The Anan Plan was drawn by a few individuals under the payroll of the UN. Those individuals were eventually bought out by the Americans. The Anan Plan could easily be presented to the UN general assembly, and be proven without doubt that is violates almost all UN resolutions for Cyprus. We didn’t do because we didn’t want to ridicule the UN themselves.
Someday after koffi Anan steps down I am sure the whole truth will be heard. The plan was a "UN plan" only by name.

And who, other than you lot are making an issue of this? And if there were any its only a show, trying to look politically correct. In reality they don't give a damn, hence the 32 years of your cries being ignored and probably will continue to be ignored for the rest of time.

How come we with the rest of the world can see this reality and you cant. Or are you all living in denial!!!

oh the world can see the reality. thats why nobody recognizes you.

you are right, we are too small to be given any attention. guess what, you're 4 times smaller. if the americans and brits didnt have anything to gain from turkey (who gives a shit about cyprus, right?) , they would have been on our side, but instead they are playing hide and seek. at least they dont make it THAT obvious. if they openly supported you they would have been contradicting themselves and everything they believe in.

your military government is too fragile (after it was heard that erdogan was sick, your stock market plunged 550 points) . if i were them, i wouldnt want to risk it either, especially if i needed you.

dont think that they are backing you (or pretending to) because you are right about anything. its because they want to use you elsewhere, which is of course a lot more important than a tiny little island.

those 32 years are coming to an end as we speak.

talat talks the talk, but turkey is doing the walk.

let talat and co stand in the way of turkey's EU aspirations and see how quickly they will be dropped.

end of the day turkey will give varosha and talat will be crying like a 2 year old.

as it stands right now the TCs are holding turkey back, yes 200,000 people are holding back 70 million people.

shame on all the tcs, after so much that turkey done for you. is this how you pay back your motherland, stabbing them in the back?

Pitsilos, I don't know where you get your news from but it is common knowledge that the Cyprus issue is far more important to Turkey than the EU.

No Cyprus deal no EU. Simple.

mrfromng

So it's you holding us back. I don't know so many people are being blamed for this mess I get confused with the whole thing. One thing is clear though, Greece and the RoC have nothing to worry about.
