I think Samsung improved recently. Maybe they will manage to get at the top along with Nokia and Sony Ericsson soon!

Can anyone suggest a hardwearing phone for the most butter fingered person on the island? Oh and not a brick.
My requirements are:
Something recent
not the size of a suitcase
screen doesnt shatter when I drop it(because I will, at least once)
if its a flip phone it doesnt fall apart
the speaker works at all times(I dont want to have to shout down the phone to be heard
AS you can see I get through one or two yearly due to my own fault really... Maybe I just shouldnt have a phone? Got 3 at the mo, One has a broken speaker, one is a bit wobbly and the other has really small buttons that I need 2 year olds fingers to text with.
Not fussed about a camera or other bits n bobs, I never take pics anyway.

Nokia 6810. It's a bit of a "brick" but has a qwerty keyboard, so is great for text and e-mail.

Er not sure of the model number, but its a nokia maybe 8810 or something.. its a stainless steel phone with a hard wearing crystal screen..

The phone slides into the steel case

Its about as strong as they get... until someone does a solid titanium phone

:D
