Hi all i am moving over to Cyprus in April as i have landed a job as a diving instructor i am looking for a long term rental around protaras and the surrounding area pref about £250 per month and 2 bedrooms as my wife and 2 young children are moving over in august as we are going to try and make a new life in cyprus,we are just hoping we can get through the winter OK but we are willing to give it ago as we love Cyprus the children are also looking forward to going to Cypriot school we know if will be hard for them to start but I'm sure they will adapt very quickly..

can anybody offer some advice please on long term rentals,schools ect..

If you will stay there the whole year then you will probably have to rent at Paralimni. Most of Protaras is closed during winter time and from what I know there are no schools there. $250 is low for 2 bedroom apartment and I am not sure if you will easily find something good at this price. How old are your children? Will they go to a private English school or a public school?

Beders: If you mean £250 Sterling (approx. CY£200) then agree with Sotos, you might struggle. No knowledge of the rental rates in the area you mentioned but for CY£250 p/m new 2 bed flats are still to be found in the Larnaca area - just rented one for our daughter.
