Dare I say? On the wine tonight?

I was not being elitist with Jimmyg. I welcomed him to Cyprus.

I realised that he wasn't aware of the land issue when he bought in the North and advised him that some members of the BB might take issue with him because of that.

He is now committed to buying his property, he has said so. I merely said there may be a compensation issue in the future.

why tell him? i am sure he is a grown up, and can make his own decisions.. and so what if they buy land thats GC's, or not as the case maybe... you all automatically assume they are.. and no no wine tonight, i am tee total, i just get fed up of the way you jump right in and the first thing that comes to mind is its GC's land, God!! its still cyprus, and he is coming here in this beautiful country to live.. why not just welcome him first.. the victim mentallity shows.. its upfront and in your face the minute anyone gets here..you dont see it, because you constantly are it.. its not healthy neither is it welcoming.. get over it for five minutes.. you dont see yourselves doing it.. its so ingrained.. and its tiring..

earthling, jimmy said that he would buy at seaterra and this company say in their website what they sell and it is not legal. So nobody was assuming anything. They only said to this person that buying Greek Cypriot land in occupied Cyprus is illegal. Whats your problem?

Thank you unique_earthling

I'm sure Jimmyg will find out everything he needs to know now he is committed to a life in Cyprus. I wish him well. I appreciate your thoughts, I love Cyprus, part of my soul is here, I know what you are saying about letting go but many here have dreams of their ancestral land that haunt them.

In the harsh reality I know that what they dream has gone, some places are unrecognizable when one returns.

But its best that Jimmyg doesn't ask for a good furniture supplier on this BB for his new dream in the North.

some times sotos you have to remember that not all people care, nor do they care about how you feel, it is a truth of life, in many walks of life, whether its a fact of law, or your ethics.. i have found many people here dont care about me, unfortunately thats life.. no one said people should care, i accept that and put up and shut up.. this is what no one seems to grasp.. why should they care.. why should anyone care? tell me.. if it doesnt affect their life or touch them emotionally, why do you think they should care.. i love animals, and no one seems to care.. i accept not many people care.. i cant make them care.. its personal to me so i accept that.. do you care what happens to the red indians or the africans or to other groups across the world? no of course you dont, so stop believing any one outside can relate to your problems.. they dont and wont.. who care here about me.. no one.. they cheat me and lie to me.. i have to accept that.. because i dont expect them to care.. think about it..
