Cats & Dogs to Cyprus

Postby les » Sat Sep 30, 2006 5:22 pm

Hi, I've just become a member today. My husband and I are having a property built and hope to come to live in Cyprus within the next year or so. We have children and several cats and dogs - how feasible is it for us to be able to drive over with them and what would be the best route? if any body has done this I would be very pleased to hear from them with any suggestions or experience. Many thanks.

Do you know anything about the schools? - haven't received any replies from anybody - I'm begining to think that not many people have animals or children! We are having our property built near Kathikas in the Arodes area so I think that going across the top road and to the new International School would be the easiest route for us. We have 3 children that are coming with us. Emmee 15, Jade 13 and Kyle 6 next year - our other daughter Sarah-Jane is at uni in London, but is in fact spending 5/6 months at Ryersons Uni in Toronto Canada next year. I have looked at other schools, but the teachers have said that the children would need to speak fluent Greek. Your advise would be appreciated. Many Thanks. Les

there are not many expats that bring their children with them as they are mostly retired and their children are fully grown.
