How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Ahh so i perhaps don't spell as you would like, so that makes me Greek then does it???, sad, very sad
As any of the mods on here will be able to see and verify my IP address and do a whois, feel free to ask them, as i will tell you that i am on Blueyonder (.co.uk)

steveash, I'm convinced. You are in England, a Greek living in England. Is blueyonder exclusive to the Smiths and Jones? Cant a Michalidis be on Blueyonder? I'm confused.

Ahh so we have moved on from the "im living in cyprus" issue now, thank god for that, actually for your info, no im NOT greek, im am british and have british parents, i do not have any trace of greek in me, well none that i know of anyway.
Actually i find this all quite amusing that you cannot hold a civalised conversation without attacking and questioning me at every chance, humm me thinks that there goes the mind of someone not quite sure of his own stance and has decided that attack is the best form of defence instead of addressing the issues at hand.

No i do not expect us to see eye to eye on this issue, i do however take offence to someone questioning my motives and insinuating that i am perhaps closer to the issues than i have let on.

All i have done is say my own experiences and thoughts on the subject, please do not feel that gives you the right to have a go at me because you do not like my viewpoint

steveash you are Greek because you don't agree with them ;) Almost the whole world must be Greek and that is why the occupation is illegal for all countries except Turkey

Piratis
Anybody that saw occupation soldiers with guns in the occupied areas is having illusions. Of course such soldiers that are ready to kill anybody that dares to even go back to his own home are only part of the imagination of some people.

Why dont you also inform steveash why the Turkish soldiers are here, you had this brilliant idea to give the island to Greece so for the sake of Enosis you killed in cold blood women and children both British and Turkish Cypriots. You missed that part I wonder why...

steveash, the Turks probably realized that they wouldn't sell to you one of the properties they stole from us and thats why they didn't care. If you have told them: "I would really like to buy cheaply some of the properties you stole from Greek Cypriots" then you would see how polite and nice and they would be to you.

Isolation isolation keep up the good work

In any case steveash there is no reason for you to argue with the likes of Viewpoint. Threre have been negotiations with Turks for ages and they refused to stop their illegalities. Now they are even willing to give up their EU accession instead of making even a small step that the EU is asking from them towards legality. You have expressed your support for legality, something that everybody should do, and that is more than enough.

steveash is a lost cause he made up his mind when a gun was waved at him by soldiers that didnt want to appear in his holiday movies. This would have been the same in any other country in the world, you are not allowed ro film military.

To be honest, everyone has their view piont, and a lot on here who actually live in Cyprus are perhaps "to close" to the issues sometimes to look at this dispasionatlly

If steveash is a Brit then I'm the Pope. He is as Greek as Piratis. Read the above and spot the clue.

Actually I hate to break it to you but the fact that he spelled "too" as to doesn't really mean anything. Why is it that he cant be a British person that cant spell for sh*t? I know my husband makes more spelling mistakes than I do including the above quoted one and I am GC and he is a native English speaker. Now I am not saying you are wrong in your conclusions but the proof you have and how you got to the conclusion might be a bit faulty :D

I dont really care if he is Greek or whatever-its irrelevant. I just know the guy has made is mind up and isnt going to let the facts get in the way of his prejudice. There isnt the even the pretence of having a balanced view here. Pure prejudice.

I am not going to argue that argument because if we get into this we will never get out. I was just trying to maybe soften the tension up a bit and I failed :(

Steveash you are absolutely right. Turkey is one big fat bully. Pure and simple.

The fact that they are now trying to call you Greek is just plain pathetic. Ignore them.
