Instead of getting snappy and quickly rejecting everyone's offers, why don't you get in touch with an estate agency? Isn't that their job to find you the house of your dreams???

Done that already, but similarly they all keep sending me hundreds of brochures of properties that are NOT on the beach. I am not getting snappy, I am all cool, but in true salesman style I am not the type of person to go into a shop for a toothbrush and come out with hair gel.

I already have a place on the beach but the block is slightly run down and so I want something else. Having seen the benefits of a place directly on the beach (especially when kids around) mean "close to" just wont do.

But you weren't that clear in what you wanted, i.e. sale or rent.

GG - why not just walk along the beach and ring the nos. advertised? :? As for 'direct onto the beach' and 'children'...... sends a chill down my spine as to the potential danger.

And children crossing the Dhekelia road on their own is safer???

As for walking along the beaches, well thats difficult to do from London.

Seems to me you're either naturally one snappy person or you def need the chill out effect of Cyprus!

No, of course, allowing children to walk across busy roads on their own is not a safe option either but nowhere did you indicate that that was the current option. As someone else posted, if you gave the full facts then you might make some tangible progress. Oh, and if you stopped biting people's heads off then you may also get more help!!!!

GG: Being the ever-helpful person I try to be.... I looked for anything new on offer as I walked by the sea today... As your post mentions 'no budget' there's what looks to be a brand new 2 bed, 2 bath (v large - I'm told by the owner/seller) 3rd floor apartment right on the beach at Mackenzie - by the Seagull Pub. I rang for details: £800 per month or £240,000 to buy Tel 99493711

Have a nice day. :)

it is difficult to not appear to be abrupt (not sure of spelling!!) when writing.....

I just noticed though that one member 2 days ago has gone to the trouble of finding out information for you and you haven't even thanked them. Makes me for one wonder if you are not just on a windup cruisade....
