you don't need any cards etc.
all you do is set it up and ready for watching.
best FTA provider ever.
You will receive well over 100 free to air channels.
there is euro news
bbc news
chinese channel (in english)
dutch channel (in english)
24 hour english movie channels (x3)
kids and movie channels (quite a few)
english cartoon channels (x3) (approx 10 others in arabic)
mixed english and arabic movie and other channels (x more than 5)
there are many sports channels as well.. mixed arabic and english
there are a few french channels as well
On the english channels you can watch Days of your life, Bold and beautiful, and several other soapies.
You can also watch, Boston legal, CSI, friends, according to Jim,still standing etc etc and several other series.

hi
has any one heard of the internet connection that opens all showtime channels?
I heard that all you need is a lan connection and a cable.

I believe you are meaning the dreambox? 1m dish, dreambox reciever, Broadband internet and Cat5e cable connected to a router, constantly downloading new codes unlocking most channels.

Its illegal as you are basically stealling the use of the satellite services.

On average, it costs around £250-£300 for installation and equipment + around £15-25/month for the privilage of downloading the codes. You also have your monthly adsl to pay on top of that.

For what you get, its worth the money and the risk. I don't know what port these codes are using for downloading, but you can bet you ass that CyTA will eventually start blocking and filtering those ports to save on some much needed bandwidth!
