I am starting this topic because people seem to confuse some things.
In Cyprus problem the words "fair solution" and "balanced solution" are 2 very different things.
A fair solution is the democratic solution that respects ALL human rights. Anybody againsts democracy and human rights in here?
A balanced solution is something different(=power politics) We take all the power of one side and all the power of the other and "balance" them. So if you are stronger you get more, and the weaker you are the less you get. There is nothing about what is "fair" or what is right or wrong. Just pure power politics.
Question: Do you want a fair solution, or a balanced solution? Before you answer remember that fair is always fair and is always good. Balanced depends on many changing variables.
For Turkish Cypriots:
Be fair with us today and lets live in peace. Stop thinking "power politics" and the power of Turkey behind you, and join us before May 1st. If you don't do this, both GC's and TC's loose and nobody wins. But TC's will loose a lot more: a great chance to live in a democratic country that respects human rights and be citizens of the EU that will secure a better "first world" life for current and future generations. TC's can be the group that will benefit the most from this EU expansion. Lets leave our "third world" past behind!!
