Debit Collectors

Postby hunter » Sat Sep 23, 2006 12:59 pm

Hi

I would like to hire a Debit Collector

does any1 know whether there are any Debit collectors in Pafos.

I have tried looking in the yellow pages, but to no avail.

If there aren't any, what other method may I use to collect monies owed to me,
other than to use the Judical System,
which i'm not too keen to use considering the time span required.

thanks

Have you tried looking at detective agencies?

They often do that sort of work!

Be careful although most debt collectors use gangster methods.

If its a particularly high amount and you have proof that a loan was made, you can always sell the debt off to a financial services company. You get most of your money back and its all done on your end. Though the person that owes the money will find that interest is at around 50% with a pay X amount of money a month or lose a limb.

I don't doubt that there are plenty of "non Cypriots" who would be more than willing to take on the role.

Hunter

Overdue debt is a criminal offence here (as opposed to a Civil matter), I believe, so the debtor can go to prison - the threat of this may be a better motivator than the prospect of a long drawn out Civil case.
