I would think both those professions are a bit full. But again I might be wrong.

There is a demand provided you get the reputation as a good english teacher and you are good in hairdressing . As long as you are good and you get the reputation for that then I think there is a demand for these and the cost of pursuing this is limited.

And most girls/women here can pay much for a good hair style!

Also good English teachers get a lot as the English language is a prerequisite in anything you do.

If one is satisfied then she will introduce to you her friends and so on this is the reason doing a good job is important! Otherwise you might not be that sucesful! Also it depends on the area you will be locating and how you will get known!

Either of these jobs is better than a waitress as they dont get much and the demand for this is seasonal! Good luck !

Most advertise on the newspaper that they offer private lessons to groups or individually and the level ( beginers , intermediate stage and so on) until they get established. You can do this at your home. Also there are private schools/ institutions that they employ teachers on a part time / full time basis and you may also get a job there If you are sucessful and you fulfill the requirements!

ok try here http://www.cypruseducation.com/ you can contact those offering English courses (ie Kes College, Papantonioy etc) to get an idea whether they can offer you a job and what their requiremenst are.

Also Philelftheros has a general line for ads and this is on 90021999 !

(Other employers are listed at www.cyprusnet.com - just in any case )
