With one exception, all my citrus trees have more fruit, this year, than at any time previously. This includes lemons, 3 varieties of oranges, clememntines, 2 varieties of grapefruit and pomelo. The eception is a mandarine tree which has zero fruit, although it had an exceptionally good year last winter. I've noticed that all the citrus fruit seems to go in a 2 year cycle of good and poor years.
If what has happened in my garden this year is repeated everywhere, there must be overproduction and the fruit-growers will demonstrate outside the presidential palace and on the airport runway because they will not be able to sell their produce!
