We hope to be moving over in early 2007 too! Probably to Peyia or around that area. Coming over in November for another look at property though will probably rent to begin with. Can't wait!

Good luck with the move Mark.

Dizey;

Its a good idea to rent first - that is what we have done in Peyia!

When we get back in 2 wks will start looking around for another place to rent NOT in Peyia!

The problems that we have found in Peyia are:- its a mini England - most of the Brits that live there are retired and have nothing to do all day, apart from being nosey & then complaining about nothing - its a long drive into Paphos ie for large supermarkets, shopping, schools, business and eating out.

If you are looking for associations (it has its own GB one), peace & quite, and nothing to do --- its for you!

I hope this helps.

Ps Thats my moaning bit done... :-)

Hi souroul,

> you guys should try limassol

Sushhh, don't tell everyone - don't want Limassol turning into another expatriate ghetto.

Cheers,

Eric what are you looking for? A place to relax or something more vibrant? You need to consider that when you make a choice for a permanent place.
