Hey guys,
below is a survey my friend has asked me to pass out for Cypriots to respond. If you find the questions frustrating, since you might have answered them, I apologize and ask you to direct the link in this forum, assuming all questoins are answered, or just choose to ignore it.
Please indicate (at least) a first name, your location and whether you are a TC or GC. Thank you:
Good Day,
My name is Manos P. and I am a third year student at Kingston University, London.
At the moment I am working on my dissertation which deals with the Annan plan and the referendum results in Cyprus. More specifically my dissertation topic is “Why did the Greek-Cypriots vote against the Annan Plan in their majority?”
Below I have just a few questions dealing on the matter, and would appreciate it if you could answer them.
Thank you for your time
Manos
Survey
1. Why do you believe the majority of the Greek-Cypriots voted against the Annan Plan?
2. Did you vote? If so, would you mind telling me what factors affected your vote?
3. Do you believe the Annan plan was a just and viable one? If not, why not, what issues do you feel it did not address?
4. Some say that the Greek-Cypriots voted purely out of bitterness and fear. To what extent would you agree to this remark?
