All we see right now is you blackmailing us with declarations like " either you lift the embargo so we may develop other avenues of economical growth, or " . That doesn't sound very honest and trustworthy to me so stop with the theatrics and show some trustworthiness, honesty and effort coming from your side too. Or, would you rather make money the fast easy illegal way?
We are not the ones with international recognition used for maintaining an unfair economical stranglehold over the south, why is it so difficult for you to treat me as your equal and allow me the same advantages you see fit for yourselves, are you superior to me? or is that you would prefer to keep the north economically hostage to force more of your demands. wake up you say you are Europeans but you do not act in the spirit of equal opportunity and democracy, you still perpetuate arrogance and the narrow vision of the 1960s. Nothing has changed.
We do not cliam to be European, we still have along way to go but at least we have shown signs that we are prepared to chnage, we have kicked out Denktas, voted in CTP, chosen a reunification Supporter Talat, open GC schools, allowed religious services in the north, started a property commission, voted yes to the only solution pland put before us. What have you guys done voted no, told us we are to blame for you voting no and taken us to court over property development in the north. Well dne keep up the good work at this rate you will successfully continue to ensure the island stay just how it is for many many years to come.
