How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

MarsdenCuckoo To answer your questions: Yes New Zealand is a beautiful country & we have been lucky enough to live here for the past 5 years in Mission Bay Auckland take a look at http://www.missionbay.co.nz/
We have also lived in Sydney & The Gold Coast Australia for 32 years. I guess we are gypsys as we were born in the UK but went to South Africa as children & have lived in several other countries including Sri Lanka, & France & Spain. We enjoy the different cultures, languages, menu & lifestyles other countries have to offer probably because Australia & New Zealand are so very far from other countries.
We essentially like hot dry climates and the East coast of Australia nor Auckland has this, both are rather humid. Although beautiful guess the grass is always greener elsewhere. We would keep our property here as being in a good location would provide us a good income to enjoy elswhere.

Sorry Lebanon does not appeal. I want to live in a stable environment, somewhere where I can enjoy the rest of my life & certainly would not want to live in a war zone. Although I realise there are parts of Lebanon that were not affected it still does not interest me. Had enough of that in Sri Lanka. I take it you live in Lebanon Pyrpolizer.

Is there any Jazz on the island? My husband is a musician/drum teacher (45 years experience) prefers modern or swing jazz to trad jazz. We are not dependant on an income but would he likes to play & teach. Music is in his veins.

There is jazz around, regular concerts at the Rialto Theatre, and at JazzyB in Limassol. It's not a huge scene, but there are some good musicians.

Hi anski

May I ask what life in Sri Lanka was like. I love the country and people but think I would find it too 'third world' for me.

Limassol is lively and has a bit of everything.. 8)

I also agree !>

In limassol one will never get bored. It is very central

The beaches are very very clean. The food variety is great.

Very cosmopolitan place.
