That is a huge coincidence, my cat threw up 3 times today. Don't know how as for the past few days he lost his appetite and won't eat :(

THAT is NOT good. anytime a cat doesn't eat, they risk dehydration or worse. you should get your cat to the vet immediatly.

Yes, not good at all. I would force-feed him immediately. Cats have to keep eating or they can develop all sorts of problems. They can't go more than a couple of days without nutrition.

Is your cat showing any other symptoms?

Hazza, if your cat has been out he/she might have eaten something bad. She needs to drink and eat and I would also take her to the vet ASAP.

He's an indoor cat, doesn't go out at all.

Any ideas what it means when he goes to his food, smells it, then starts wiping his foot on the floor (same action as covering his mess in the cat litter)?

He still has bags of energy (apart from today), running around like a nutter, chasing flies (managed to catch one yesterday).

His food bowl is clean (clean it after every meal he eats/doesn't eat). Tried different types of cat food, even tried giving him some spam. He ate a tiny tiny amound before shying away again to sit on my lap for a sleep.

I will try to force feed him though.

Well I am not a vet, but it sounds like he might have a stomach flu and nothing tastes good. Make sure he at least gets some liquids.

My cat did like this a couple of times before. But she was not sick at all, she just didn't like the food, she is quite spoiled :)

But I guess, it's not your case since you gave him different kinds of food

Its a he UE. I dont know much about cats but isnt it different for male cats? I think a vet if not better by tomorrow would be the best bet.
