if you are moving from an EU country, and can prove that you have owned the vehicles there for over 6 months then you wont pay anything in duty...

Just registration fees...

The customs office will want proof that you lived, and worked in EU, so bank statements and proof of employment, then insurance certs to cover the 6 months, reg certificate V5, that should cover you well..

The customs office are a pain tho, but you should get it duty free if you have all the proof..

:D

Wow, impressive, logging on as someone else and giving your business a push. Not bad, kind of see-through though.

thanks for your help svetlana its much appreciated,we've been looking through all of the forums for answers & finally plucked up the courage to post a few questions,we were quite put off by some of the posts as their seems to be a lot of flaming & bashing going on in some of the forums & the registration & import tax seemed confusing to us, i'd also read that car insurance is quite expensive & road tax aswell
once again thanks alot all advice is appreciated
all the best mick
