Yes, many people die in the US every day due to other acts of violence, but the attacks on 9/11 was the most evil and barbaric act of terror in the history of mankind.

Lets take Theft. Stealing one £ 1.00 is stealing , stealing a million is also stealing but no sane individual would argue that raping a 30 year old is quantifiable with the rape of a baby.Both are rapes , both are thefts but can not under any logic be classed not only similar but related in any way.
9/11 was planned and executed by deranged fanatics who valued their own death more than all those innocent victims valued life. Pulling a gun in a crowded American Bar and shooting a few people , or shooting and killing a passer by while carrying out a robbery is indeed a crime , but can not in way be used as an example in order to demean the gravity of 9/11 .
