Did u heard what Mr. Papadopulos said ?When i heard i shocked !

I have read the same interview on Kibris Gazetesi.
I am not shocked, because this was something obvious.
Do you still believe that peace will be achieved by May 2004???

Anyway! 
I have a Greek Cypriot friend and when i ask him "Why don't u make demonstrations like us for peace?" he was replying "Our leader is not like Denktaş." I wonder what he will say now!

The answer is simple
GC's do not make demonstrations like we did, because they do not need and want the Annan plan as much as we do.
GC's wants to give TC's minority rights under one government and receive all the properties they evacuated in 1974. Would you demonstrate for something that will give you back part of what you departed, and give the other community a complete syetem to control themselves with equal representational rights? Ofcourse not...

May be leaders of GC's but what about GC people? Anyway ... After this point GC's have to make comments about why aren't they making demonstrations for peace like we did 3 times ...

The answer to why GC are not as supportive for Anan's plan is simple.
For TC's if a solution is found with the Anan plan advantages > disadvantages. Personally I can only see disadvantages for Tureky itself, and very few for TC's.
On the other hand for GC's disadvantages > advantages.
Do not forget that TC's in Cyprus are a minority(this is a simple fact not an opinion), and federation is already a big compromise from our part and you shouldn't expect us to be excited with a solution that takes away from us even more.
So give us a plan that will be fair, and then you will see that GC's and our president will sign it right away.
Do not forget that our president was recently elected with over 50% from the first round, and the votes where only by GC's (not Greeks or any others). So unlike Dectash, Papadopoulas does represent the majority of GC's.

What disadvantages so? I have got the plan in my pc ! We can look it up!
