I don't exactly understand the question, but I think you're asking me which film was made first. Ben Hur was filmed in 1959 I believe. Not certain on Wizard of Oz , but it could have been filmed mid 1950's. Perhaps other "cast members" could provide the date for us. I would like to think, it was in 1955.!!

The Wizard of Oz was made in 1939, according to imdb.com.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032138/

I loved this movie as a child. It's a classic. A must see for those who haven't seen it!

-Toto

Thanks for correcting me. After I sent the above post, I realized that I made a mistake with the dates, and was on my mind going to bed last night, because Liza Minnelli, who is the daughter of Judy Garland, must be in her late 60's by now.!

No, I do not speak SWAHILI, but this name "Kikapu" has been with me for a long time.

Judging from all your previous posts, I don't think there is a part for you in "Wizard of Oz". I think you will be more suited for re making of "Debbie does Dallas". I'll let you know if I intend casting for that.!!!

Has the "magic Wand" climbed out of the toilet yet to give you some chocolates and a dinner. Forget the flowers, you can't eat those.!!!

Natty wrote:Good job with the wild guess!! I was actually quite surprised that you new what my favorite percentage was...I have to say, I'm pretty impressed kikapu! :D

You know, It's funny you should say that about me and Judy Garland, I have on many occasions been compared to her...actually some people (and I'm not blowing my own trumpet here or anything of course...) say that I am, in fact BETTER than her when it comes to singing over the rainbow!! Yep you did read correctly, BETTER than her.... 8)

Would you like me to sing some more?

Ehem "Some where over the rainbow, skies are blue, birds fly over the rainbow, why oh why can't I......"

SEE????

Oh Natty, you're so correct. You're better than Judy. Judy, eat your heart out.!! I used my 7th sense to pick you to play "Dorothy", because I just knew, that you were so good. You know, most people only have 5 senses, unless you happen to be playing "Scarecrow", "Tin Man" or the "Cowardly Lion", then you'll have less than 5.!!

By the way, did you hear, that I will be playing the role, as the "Basket" to carry "Toto" (doglover) in. So, that means, I will be swinging from your arms from time to time.

Practice the song, "going to see the Wizard, the Wizard of Oz". The "Wizard" (Miltiades) doesn't have a clue yet, as to how he's going to get a "brain", a "heart" and "courage" to Sotos play characters.

The "wicked Witch" ( anatasiaC ) is still on vacation. The "Witches Broom" (reportfromcyprus) wants to go flying, but needs the " Wicked Witch" at the controls.

You don't have to worry about any 'accidents' Kikapu. Dorothy house trained me when I was a puppy.

And could you please put some bones in my basket? I would like to have something to chew on whilst my mummy follows the endless yellow brick road.

Phew, I forgot about getting "wet". Yes, there will be lots of nice treats for you. If you do need to go though, please use "scarecrow" legs. This way, he won't catch afire.!!
