family health insurance?

Postby zebedee » Thu Sep 07, 2006 10:28 am

hello, we're moving over in february next year with our 2 and 6 yr old children. Trying to budget for the move and living costs is a bit complicated but I'd really appreciate some recommendations on any private healthcare providers? Does anyone have a rough idea of the costs for a family of four? Does each private hospitals have their own linked insurer or can you go to any, once you've got cover? Do they all do A&E services? I've heard there are no ambulance services- is that true? I feel a little panic setting in now...!

Can you contact me on my private email [email protected] ?

I work in the reinsurance industry and know the whole market. I have a few suggestions and know a very reliable agent.

I'm with Libertylife who have been great. Husband's company is with Universal who have also proved their worth. Depending on what you want covered will depend on the premium.

There are ambulance services but no paramedics. However, if you are going private and need an ambulance and call a private clinics ambulance they are fully equipped with all defibrillators and trained staff etc.
