Now that the Orams have won, what does the future hold ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Someone posted up TCs are 18% of the population but have 37% (or something like that) of the land mass. So what? Quite a lot of that is uninhabitable - bit like comparing the importance of a desert to, say, the City of London. OK, so maybe not a good comparison but hopefully people will get my drift.

The Cypriots I've met are first and foremost just that - Cypriots - not TCs or GCs. I did find it very sad though when a Cypriot I met a few years ago said he'd visited his former home 'on the other side' but he wouldn't dare stay overnight for fear of violence. Such a shame in such a lovely part of the world.

MarsdenCuckoo, are you just drunk after a Saturday night party, or you are just kidding us? Are you serious with what you said above? And you even contradict your self in the same post.

Piratis
And when did we have any agreement that the country should be geographically split and shared??? Show me that agreemend Viewpoint. (take it from your dream and print it for us)

The 1960 agreements gave us rights under a partnership, the whole thing went awol and we found ourselves unable to share this island mixed up what followed is history.....get over it. Try to find ways to show us we are wrong to want tolive seperately, feel free to show us you have changed and do not want total control of the whole island, feel free to demonstrate that you to respect the human rights of all that live in the south, dont talk do it...

Viewpoint. you are violating the sovereignty of our country with your illegal occupation. There is no such option to you as keeping our country under occupation. You can do so only illegally, and your insistence to illegality will bring consequences to you.

I'm having some difficulty with your grammar Piratis - might be better understood if you kept to Greek.

Hi Marge,

Piratis and his cyberarmy will tell you the Oram's are thieves and the very worst of British scum. In reality these people found an ideal place to build their dream home and enjoy retirement. They are innocent victims of circumstances, just like the Tc's, GC's the settlers.

It is the GC's desire to bring global attention to the Cyprus problem. If it means dragging innocent retirees to the spotlight so be it.

The fools are not even aware that all these plans are working against them and are sinking deeper into a pit. Give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves.

Piratis

You are a moderator and as such, IMHO, you should close this thread down, before fighting breaks out.
Nothing will ever be solved by posting on a forum and this thread is getting very nasty, on both sides. it would be OK if it was talked about in a sensible manner, but now insults are being thrown from one to the other.

Its a disgrace IMHO!!!
