Now that the Orams have won, what does the future hold ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Fairly new here so.... can someone pls explain in simple terms (if poss) what exactly is wrong with the TCs having their own 'space/land/country/region' separate from the GCs?

Someone posted up TCs are 18% of the population but have 37% (or something like that) of the land mass. So what? Quite a lot of that is uninhabitable - bit like comparing the importance of a desert to, say, the City of London. OK, so maybe not a good comparison but hopefully people will get my drift.

The Cypriots I've met are first and foremost just that - Cypriots - not TCs or GCs. I did find it very sad though when a Cypriot I met a few years ago said he'd visited his former home 'on the other side' but he wouldn't dare stay overnight for fear of violence. Such a shame in such a lovely part of the world.

Because TCs don't own any separate part of Cyprus. TCs properties are mixed all over the place along with GCs. It is as if tomorrow the Arab minority of the UK with the help of a foreign country kicks out everybody else from 1/3rd of UK and declare it as their own country.

So when you would be ethnically cleansed from your home and become a refugee, should I come and tell you "so what if the Arabs have their own separate state in the UK? Whats wrong with that?"

Now I think about it, there are 200.000 GCs in the UK. Maybe they should be given a big chunk of your country as their own separate country and you being kicked out of that part?

Piratis, you talk absolute shit. Every time I read your posts I feel a divided island is the only peaceful solution. Do yourself and the rest of the GC's a favour and keep your mouth shut.

What I say are the facts known by everybody that has the slightest clue about history in Cyprus. What you do is just pointless swearing.

And the alternative is? To do our best so that you will enjoy what you stole from us? It became clear that you will accept nothing less than partition. So until you will be forced to abandon your illegalities there is nothing much else we can do.

Do these Arabs or GC have an international agreement to share that country? do they lay claim to ever owning that country? or did they at any time have rights for their community? or did they voluntairily choose to go live in the UK and abide by their laws and rules?

Are you serious mrfromng? Or are you just kidding us?

My friend, I know that deep down your dream is partition, but we will never let you run away with the stealing 37% of our 3,500 years old ancestral country. Perhaps you may have a small chance with only 18%, if you so much wish to go this way. There is no point for us to argue any more on this nonesense that some parachutist droped in the forum right on top of the page.

And when did we have any agreement that the country should be geographically split and shared??? Show me that agreemend Viewpoint. (take it from your dream and print it for us)

I many times said that I hate the criminals, and those that do not respect the human rights of others. Does this equate with Turks? I mean you are a Turk so you should no better ... so OK!
