Now that the Orams have won, what does the future hold ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

see what happens when you create a situation as you have done? You gave them an excuse. Look at the post by Sotos.

If you run a newspaper or whatever it is, print his posting!

Oh and by the way..ever heard of libel. Are they words and not deeds????????????

You're right that libel and slander are both made up of words. Libel is made up of inaccurate facts that are printed and read widely and that affects someone's reputation or legal position. Sotos' words are his opinion, he's not claiming they are facts.

I wasn't defending Sotos, I was pointing out that people say things that are out of character when they're upset, as GC's are in general over this case. I've watched Sotos' posts over the months, they are usually not so...angry.

I wouldn't print anyone's posting, a. because I'd need their permission, b. because I'd need the permission of the forum, and c. because it would be a pathetic thing to do :)

To explain myself better, people come here to have fun and post their opinions honestly, not be printed by the media and feel they're being watched. Hell, I wouldn't print my own posts :)

Can someone clarify for me something? Does all the land in the North of Cyprus belong to Greek Cypriots?
Does any of it belong to TC? As if it does then Lysi is way off the mark. Surely TC can sell their land for people to build on if they want.

SNAD, over 80% of the land in the occupied areas belongs to greek cypriots, you work it out.
You think the building boon in the north is only on turkish cypriot land ?
I will not stand by while greedy BRITISH people like the ORAMS profit from the misery of thousands of greek cypriot refugees.
I URGE PEOPLE TO CONTACT & COMPLAIN TO ESTATE AGENTS IN THE UK & OCCUPIED AREAS WHO DEAL IN STOLEN GREEK CYPRIOT LAND & PROPERTY.
DIRECT ACTION IS WHAT IS NEEDED NOW.

www.cyprus-seaterra.com www.stringerestates.com www.unwinestates.com www.borayestates.com www.henrycharlesestates.com All these greedy estate agents sell property that is built on STOLEN GREEK CYPRIOT LAND

CONFRONT ESTATE AGENTS & PEOPLE WHO ARE DEALING IN STOLEN GREEK CYPRIOT LAND & PROPERTY, CONTACT THESE GREEDY PEOPLE & LET THEM KNOW YOUR FEELINGS ON THE MATTER.

Lysi........I take you have personally contacted all the above and vented your spleen at them have you?

Even you will have noticed that almost all who come on this forum do not support the selling and buying of occupied land. They do so at their own risk.

So quit tarring us all with the same brush. Thank god not all cyps are like you or you'd have your island and the donkeys all to yourself............ for a little while...... at least.

As i understand it they did not win the ruling simply stated that it had no power to enforce anything in the occupied areas!
I think this will end up in the European court of justice with all the EU watching and the outcome may be very different.

Typical Greek Cypriot action if you don't mind me saying so. You did just the same in 1963 when you couldn't get your own way. Nicos Sampson used to boast about the number of his own countrymen he had put a bullet into - whether Greek or Turkish Cypriots it didn't matter to him. And it sounds to me as if it doesn't matter to some of you guys either.

And some of you guys are educated!

Blame the person/organisiation selling the land then. If somethings for sale, someone will always buy it!!!!!!

But what I want to know is............ assuming one day you lot do sort it out amongst you and Turkey pulls out or whatever........ what then????????

Then, the rightful owners take their land back and the people who built on it are screwed OR
The people who built on it have to pay fair market price to the owner if he is willing to sell it and they are still screwed.
