Piratis,
You forgot the bit were the TC's delibrately made the 1960 constitution unworkable, refused to accept the entirely reasonable 13 amendments to the constitution to remove their rights, started the fighting 1964 and withdrew to their enclaves where 18 % of the population could live in 3% of the land in squalor for 11 years to await the long planned Turkish invasion to divide the island.
You are right, TC did try to use their veto powers to bring RoC into a deadlock, and they refused to even consider any amendments that would make the constitution of Cyprus much closer to what exists to all other countries in the world.
Regarding the intercommunal fight, and TCs going to enclaves etc, you seem to forget that the this was a two way conflict were both sides had about the same amount of casualties.
TCs came out of the enclaves in 1968. So it was 5 years, not 11. So how is that related with the invasion of 1974? The invasion had used the coup as an excuse, not anything else.
So why do you bring unrelated things of the past to excuse what happened in 1974? To try to present GCs as the evils that have to be exterminated by the peace loving Turks? To blame GCs when in fact the Turks were the ones who committed the crimes 99% of the time, and they continue to do so today?
Here is a thread were I talk about this in detail:
