Orams Victory

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby boomerang » Fri Sep 08, 2006 12:10 pm

Now you are fellow Cypriots, where was this thought back in 1960s when all you could think of was Enosis and anihalation of your "fellow Cypriots".

The above tells me you are stuck in time warp...can you imagine if the coloured people in the US had the same mentality as yours where they will be today?
You keep on bringing the same argument forward all the time and always the 1960 era...do you also drive an old hillman or your upgraded for newer model... ...you do realise that we have open borders now and a lot of people do cross them...you do also realise that more money is spend by TC in south than GC in the North...God you must hate all these traitors with a passion...But I see you are ok with someone calling you a con artist and a back stabber in 2006?

I think you will lose the Israelis when you are bring in arabs...you do know the two don't mix...

well say goodmorning to your new neighbours...

and lets not forget the wifes

and in this case the GC should wait until you get enough of them and then insist on partition... ...but somehow I think in this case you by very happy living in the South...

Once bitten twice shy, ask the coloured people what they really feel about the whites and living in the US, you will be suprised that nothing much has changed there either. People are free to go and spend their money as they wish.

think you will lose the Israelis when you are bring in arabs...you do know the two don't mix...

These are investors not people who will come and live here, they will build hotels and develop property etc.

Dream on .

boomerang, nice pix mate! oi, nobody would want neighbours like those crazy muslims. Turkish speeking cypriots are ok, i am concerned with the infritration of anatolian barbarian in our land. With if we unite and cypriots (gr,tr, armenian, maronites and etc.) will have to live with the taleban settlers?

Yes viewpoint once bitten twice shy?...Its actually called a time warp viewpoint...its alright mama you got the 60s...

Yeah Viewpoint the arabs are investing...to cater for?...yes more arabs...but thats ok with you...Keep on selling and then maybe you could one day clean their houses/hotels...or even maintain their gardens...baby sit, cook, well you know the drill...and in 30 years they will probably ask you for the Annan plan...

Viewpoint I am willing to wait another 30 years to see what happens...You never know there could be a revolution in Turkey and she could become IRAN 2, with a little mini me on the side...

The problem is are you willing to take a chance?

In 30 years ill probably be dead and youll still be waiting for return of non existent GC land.

It hasnt happen with the Brits why should it with Arabs (unlikely they will come here to live), we all get on fine it just you GCs that cause all the problems.

You really need to go see Turkey and then make flipant comments if you can.

Its not a time warp boomerang its called experience and taking precautions to protect our community.

It hasn't happened with Brits YET...lets give it another 30 years...In my books this cozy relationship is starting to show signs of fatique, wouldn't you say?...I mean here you have the Orams, to which you so passionly defended, calling you con artists in a British court... ...What did Mrs Orams say?...I didn't know, they didn't tell us....what a classic  ...and how could we forget the celebrities, the Gary Robbs of this world...

I need to see Turkey?....I think you better get over there yourself, el pronto...Actually viewpoint the pictures I posted are from Turkey...but hey its ok...I have no land to claim...I was born in Limassol many moons ago

yes us GC cause the problems...like selling land that doesn't belong to us...wanting to trade that something that doesn't belong to us, by conning people in the first place, while we guard it with force, and then get upset and call people war mongers for one day using force to get it back...yes, yes how could I fail to see your point...

Precaution...hm...well keep on selling your homeland to every Tom, Dick and Harry...oh I forgot...Abu Karim Muhammad al-Jamil. Abdulaziz al-Filastini and Al-lughah al-arabiyyah ..I again see what you mean...How stupid of me...

Lets wait another 30 years...to see what gives...

PS...I said it before in order to have unification you need to co-work on big projects...This will built trust and it will lead to unification...Negotiations ain't gonna work...I am a firm believer of this...and the example I gave you above, will lead to the right direction...

The ghost town ain't serving any purpose any more...Its actually worth more if you gave it back...and start rebuilding it together...and start co-working together at the port...Give it 3 years and you guys will be united...Turkey willing ofcource....

We have no prblems with non resident brits, you are have far more of them in the south and you detest them but love their money.
Tell them to stop coming and your economy will collapse.

There are con artists all over the world we are no exception to the rule.

Turkey has a diversified popuation of 75 million of course you will find people of all different faiths, those pics could also have been taken in the UK.

yes us GC cause the problems...like selling land that doesn't belong to us...wanting to trade that something that doesn't belong to us, by conning people in the first place, while we guard it with force, and then get upset and call people war mongers for one day using force to get it back...yes, yes how could I fail to see your point...

The problem didnt start will us selling land thats the result of your enosis dream and the chain of events that followed.

You did exactly the same and are still doing it today.

Lets wait another 30 years...to see what gives...

OK looks like nothing else is going to happen so we have no choice but to wait.

PS...I said it before in order to have unification you need to co-work on big projects...This will built trust and it will lead to unification...Negotiations ain't gonna work...I am a firm believer of this...and the example I gave you above, will lead to the right direction...

Is this a joke, our 2 communites cooperate unheard of. I would hold my breath if I were you.

Maras is a carrot to keep you wanting a fair solution, like you say if we allow direct flights or your economy to improve you will no longer want a solution.

please play this card..............

by the way turkey will join the eu if and when there is a fat fat profit to be made by the europeans. Then and only then will turkey's apllication be granted. Its the way of the world, and it will take a bigger nation than cyprus to stop that.
