I've been interested in getting a job as a flight attendant on cyprus airways. Does anyone know how i should go about it?

Just email them with a enquiry letter
or check their website to see if they have any employment openings.
and maybe enquire with a relative who knows someone who knows someone etc that works for Cyprus airways.....
Id say you'd also have to be the right weight within your height range and generally nice

Cyprus Airways.... No chance. They are downsizing due to there huge debts. They are also the state owned airline so CY staff are civil servants. You'll only get in if you know someone.

Try Eurocypria.

Sorry Pantheman, can't agree with your comments. I have flown 4 times with CA and each time the cabin crew have been polite and respectful and very helpful, to me.

The handling agent at the airport, is a different matter, I have never seen such miserable people in all my life, never smiling, threw my passport at me etc. Shameful!!!

I disagree too
the times Ive flown with them have been really great!
Olympic airways on the other hand are really bad........

Cyprus Airways have recently cut a lot of jobs, so I don't think they are currently hiring more cabin crew. You would need to contact them to fax you an employment form. I think you would also need to accquire a letter from the police, stating that you have had no criminal convictions.

I have flown with Cyprus Airways a few times, and some of the flight attendants were very friendly. Of course there were a couple that were incapable of smiling. But I think you will find that to be the case on any airline.

It's the same with British Airways... on some flights they are really pleasant, and on others, they are not. So it all depends on the cabin crew on the given day.

I know that Helios are currently hiring cabin crew.

I do have to agree with G man, they are surly and miserable and look like they lost a tenner and found a Penny!!

with cyprus airways flights its not the flight attendants that are the problem! its the cypriot passengers! screaming kids crazy grannies............. and the need to push everyone
