Don't you think that
Cyprus would still be a land of farmers, if it weren't for the English or other people that come to the Island. How many famlies do we support with our spending the in the restaurants and shops. Also the investment into the country buying property and paying the relevent taxes. A lot of the Cypriots driving around in BMW etc would still be on their donkeys if it were not for our investment, no affense intended, just being honest. At the end of the day, it does not cost money to be polite, when dealing with people, customers, when it comes to a problem. I have found that the Cyprus people are fine while you are spending your money and lining their pockets. If you are not, they can be very rude, and treat you like something on the bottom of their shoes. Not everyone is like this......by any means. I have seen cases where English people can be just as bad. But please remember, we are in Europe now which means we are all the same! This means also that their are certain rights that everyone has and certain standards that everyone has to live to, in harmany hopefully....don't kill the golden goose as it were......
