British if you don't like Cyprus, go home

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

That is a scary thought at what could have happened. Anyone doing a U turn on a highway should be banned instantly from driving.

I remember many years ago... My dad was driving my brother and I some place, and as he was driving along a main road... this idiot pulled out of a side road (with a stop sign) and nearly hit us. My dad yelled "STOP!" and hit the brakes. The guy driving the car was quite embarrased by this, as his girlfriend was in his car. So he got out, and pretended to get something out of his boot. He walked over to my dads window, and put his arm on his window, preventing my dad from getting out of the car.

He was in the wrong, but he didn't like the fact that my dad yelled 'STOP!'.

Although I like Cyprus, and think it's a beautiful place... this is just one of the many things that ruins it for me.

Well, that was the first time I had seen someone do that on the highway, so that doesn't happen regularly here. Although I have seen many people do it on main roads... they'll look left and right to see if there is a police car about... and often there isn't, so they'll just do it.

Another thing that pisses me off here, is when kids (and sometimes grown men) remove the bafflers on the their exhaust pipes, to make it really loud!

what i still find shocking is when you see young children in the front with no seat belt on, i've even seen on many ocasions babies sitting on the laps of the drivers while driving.

Well, that's nice - someone likes us! Well, I love Cyprus and the Cypriots, and yes, I have driven in Cyprus many times, but I've also drive buses all over England, including London, and I'm afraid the driving standards in the UK are pretty abysmal now, and no better than they are in Cyprus.

I like both Cypriots, and the British!!!

Good and bad things in both England and Cyprus in my opinion! But personally I think the good out weigh the bad in both Countries/communities!!

Peace! :)
