coming to limassol 15th sept, please help

Postby brianmcr » Wed Aug 30, 2006 4:50 pm

Going to Limassol on Friday 15th Sept for 2 weeks for my Brothers Wedding, I'm the best man. I need to arrange a afternoon and night out on Sunday 17th for him, there will be about 20 men ranging from age 16 to 55. Any ideas on where to go and what to do? Was thinking of doing something in the afternoon (go-karting, bowling, pool or something else) then a meal somewhere and then a few pubs/clubs. Any ideas would be much appreciated. :D

How about going to Ayia Napa from the morning, visiting the Waterpark there then do Go Karting next door before hitting the restaurants and bars afterwards? You can arrange to hire a small coach/large minibus with a dedicated driver so you can all have a good night?

If its still there you can go out for a night of Space bowling. I thought it was pretty cool. The place is called "space bowling". U can also go to Chesters on a night of a soccer (football) game its fun and exciting and good food and drinks. I remember some Karting near the Camel Park. That I believe is in larnaca. Not a bad ride from Limassol. Gosh it has been 2 years I forget easily. If I can remember correctly there is either the Fasouri or the Wet and Wild water park. One or the other in Limassol. If Galatex is still there that place is pretty crazy, its basically an area of bars and clubs outdoors with loud music and Dj's but from cousin's I've heard there is a lot of drug dealing and other things going on there so I'm not sure but i guess you can give it a try. The age's you mention I think don't matter because at 16 you can get pretty much anywhere, or at least i did. Ill post again if I can think of anything else... Please anyone correct me on wrong information its been a while sadly...

The Fasouri waterpark is very close to Limassol, there are buses that go there from the town or you can get taxis. Its a lot of fun for all ages.

I would suggest that, if you are staying in the tourist area, you pop in to one of the many restaurants and book a table on the Friday or Saturday so that you know where you are going and when. Most of them do British and Cypriot dishes. There are lots of clubs too, some of them typical stag night places, so you wont be at a loss for somewhere to go.

Enjoy!
