Hi twinkle,

I've scheduled facelift in Larnaca on Sept.2 with Dr. George David (Hungarian, registered in UK) through "Picture Perfect". I could not find any comments on him...Do you know anything about this doctor please? It's scary to go for operation without any referrals. I will appreciate a lot your answer.

i had a cosmetic surgery 2 weeks ago, the doctor is cypriot but had his studies in the US, it wasnt cheap tho but the results are better than what i expected and believe me i will do it all over again !! if its cosmetic it means your not happy with something and go girl just look for a good doctor and do it.. good luck.. ah he is from limassol also so he might be the same one you heard about, he is famous over here and have his web site.. you can check him out, befor and after pics.. again good luck

Thanks a lot for your post Emma. Who is the surgeon you are talking about? How I can find out his name? It's almost impossible to find independant opinions about the doctors if it's not alowed to mention their names in forums.

Thanks a lot Emma, I've checked website. The before-after photos are really impressive! But yesterday I was reading forum on healing after facelift and it was so bad that I nearly changed my mind to go for operation. All of them are in big discomfort and pain for month after operation. All are complaining they did not know about it in advance. So it'll take two weeks to look so-so from outside, but inside - up to one year! I am in physical work - running Personal Training business and so far can spend for recovery no more than 2-3 weeks. Is it so Emma? How do you feel after two weeks? Does it depend on surgeon skills? Oh, and price is the same like with my doctor.

the 1st 3 days i couldnt move but i had big operation!! 1st week i satrt to walk around my house, eat normaly and get better sleep, thats my 2nd week and i do everything, i go out, i work, i stopped taking pain killers week ago cause i dont really need them , no more pain but bit discomfort witch i knew it will happen, but its worth it.. think about your reasons why you wanna have cosmetic surgery and dont do it unless you sure 100% you want it, good luck

I'm considering having cosmetic surgery, I've found a clinic in Limassol, that seems very professional, has anyone had any experiences?

No but my mother has, and a bad one at that!!
she paid thousands to have a complete face lift, fine lines and wrinkles, the full works.
She remembers the waking up after the op and the surgeon removing the plaster aids from one of her eyes, by accident he ripped a lump of flesh off with the plaster aid, it was about the size of a baby finger nail, she watched him press it back onto the area under her eye.
Now she has the scar to prove it along with big stitches around her ears.
she took out an insurance before the work to cover herself before any work was done.
This was 5 years ago and she has come to realise it was a bad experience for alot of money and will never get a penny back, not even from the insrance!!!
