I wouldnt call that cosmetic surgery at all

Id say go speak to a few doctors as Im sure its very risky....if you feel this is your last resort
then go for it!

Enhancement means improvment to what is existing. Much better than cosmetic. It is surgery though I'm not disputing that.

The industry is huge in the UK with people giving vouchers for surgery as presents. However, some jobs are really bad and can be spotted a mile off. Keep them in proportion, use a good surgeon (check out previous work he has done, better still by word of mouth), with good aftercare and good products. Don't know about those surgery holidays? There isn't any aftercare and no come back. Plus flying is the last thing you want to do a week after being under the knife!

i guess its marketed that way as its sells better....
its huge in Australia too
botox is becoming very popular
my local GP does it and Im suprised how popular it is....Im never going to say never but at the moment I dont feel I need it
having said that there are days u wake up and think Ughhh LOL

The request was about surgery not dentistry...

:?

Yeasss I got it wrong. I was refering to Cosmetic Dentistry and not Cosmetic surgery. After I realised that the man was referring to surgery which is a complete different thing!

I know its a personal thing but you need to think about it carefully....lots of bodgy jobs out there......

I know i want to get braces on my teeth soon....the top are straight but the bottom ones have become crooked from overcrowding....haha 35yrs old with braces - my husband thinks Im mad but I cant stand it!!
\\AnastasiaC...i have alot of experience in the dental field, some of it with orthodontics. there are things they can do to your lower teeth where no one even knows you have braces on. the can put the wires behind the teeth, use invisable brackets. and there is something else which is like wearing a clear plastic covering over the teeth that force them to move. it's amazing what they can do. i say GO FOR IT!

When people feel uncomfortable with the way they look and they want to change something because it would make them feel more confident about themselves then I think they should go for it.Of course I think that too much is ridiculous.

Eternal you should make sure the doctor is good! And like Anastasia said it would be better to talk and get opinions from different doctors.

Btw..I would suggest you not to do it in Cyprus! If i wanted one,I wouldnt do it here!I dont trust our doctors and I dont think they are good enough,or at least not as good as in some other places.Try LA! :)

I would not go for cosmetic surgery now, but I would consider it in the future, surgery for breasts after breastfeeding for example etc, so to let's say fix my body a bit but not change something totally

If I am satisfied with my breasts after having babies, I of course will not go for surgery.
But I see my mom, my aunt, sister of my mom, other women on my mom's side... I guess I'll have something like this after breastfeeding

Hi Olga

A friend of mine in London uk. had her breasts enhanced and she is extremley happy with her image now and has no intention of further surgery.
How ever she will need to decide in 10 years time if she has her implants removed completely or replaces them and goes through the op all over again. odviously you have to consider the money and the cost will rise each year.

so either way this surgery is not permenant and at some stage you will be back to square 1.

There is nothing wrong with choosing to go ahead but a lot of people do not think about the future.

See what happens after your kids.

Thanks for reply, jazzy1! :)

Of course, there will be a lot of thinking before I take a decision, I am not going to rush.
What I was thinking to have is some kind of breast lift, I don't think I will go for implants
